As a pastoralist and Maasai warrior in rural Kenya, Lemasika knows the financial and emotional pain of losing livestock to wildlife attacks. He also knows what it's like to seek revenge on wildlife, but the conservation world demands peaceful coexistence. Now, as a predator scout, Lemasika investigates wildlife crime scenes to provide compensation to people who lose their livestock as long as they do not retaliate against the wildlife. While the compensation program is helping, it is imperfect and puts a heavy burden on his community.
