False Bay, South Africa is one of the most biodiverse ocean areas in the southern hemisphere. The crew at Cape Radd is studying and protecting this special place, including getting it designated as a Marine Protected Area and Mission Blue Hope Spot. We joined the local marine biologists to support their research efforts, including collecting data using an underwater remote vehicle and identifying species found within the MPA.
