Respect the Amazon
The Amazon is full of life. In the roots of the trees, in the curves of the rivers, in the sounds that come from the forests and in the voices of millions of people who call it home.
The indigenous peoples, fishermen, riverside communities, quilombolas, the region's unique biodiversity and also the urban populations make the Amazon diverse.
Many of these communities have a relationship of respect for the territory, preserving the ancestral knowledge that keeps the forest alive.
With global attention focused on COP30 (30th United Nations Climate Change Conference), which will take place this year in Belém, Brazil in the heart of the forest, we can strengthen the movement in defense of respect for the Amazon in an unprecedented and historic way!
The Amazon demands respect!
