Have you seen this PURPLE fungi before? Purple Fairy Club grows clusters of slender spindly lavender finger-looking fruiting bodies which rise up above mossy forest floors and can reach 10cm tall. Keep your eyes out for this fungi growing in western North American species, where it appears in mixed spruce and fir forests.
