Who listens when the ocean cries for help?

Ocean on Fire is a new short film in response to the devastating coral bleaching event of 2024, featuring Avatar actress Bailey Bass and Titouan Bernicot, founder of Coral Gardeners, as they journey through Mo’orea - the island where Titouan grew up and first felt called to protect the reefs.

Inspired by his coming-of-age story, the film brings together past and present to reflect on the fate of our changing ocean. It captures the raw beauty of Mo’orea while exposing the heartbreaking fragility of its coral reefs.

At just five minutes, this film is a creative call to action: to listen, to feel, and to fight for the future of our reefs.
