If you’ve ever wanted to work in marine life rehabilitation, here’s a sneak peek into the process 🩵 We got to shadow a new sea turtle patient assessment at Gaya Island Resort with the marine biologists and veterinarians on site during our stay. This is the 38th patient they’ve cared for!

This was also the day we found out green sea turtle populations were announced by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) that they are no longer endangered – reminding me that efforts like this really do make all the difference 🥹
