Next, journey to the village of Harie, where a natural spring weaves through over 100 homes, fostering a deep sense of shared responsibility. Follow this water to Lake Biwa - the largest in Japan and one of the world's last remaining ancient lakes - where you'll meet Eiji Nakatsu, a visionary biomimetic engineer. It was here he found inspiration to design a bullet train modeled after the diving kingfisher.
