Founded on the belief that storytelling can shift perspectives, raise awareness, and inspire action, WaterBear has grown into a TV channel, earned B Corp certification, and built a global purpose-driven community of more than 700,000 people, alongside an ecosystem of creators and impact partners.
Today, that is reflected in more than 17 million views, an audience of around 3 million, and 14 awards. Through hundreds of documentaries and films, WaterBear turns engagement into real-world action for nature and society, inspiring audiences worldwide and helping drive tangible outcomes through initiatives such as Watch for Impact.
Recognised by media including The Guardian, Forbes, and Vogue, WaterBear has also built strong support for emerging creators and developed partnerships with more than 100 NGOs and brands - from SeaLegacy, Greenpeace, and the Jane Goodall Institute to Rolex, Nikon, and Patagonia. Together, these achievements have created a powerful legacy and laid the foundation for what comes next.
Bringing Conservation to Life
Bringing Conservation to Life was created to mark Synchronicity Earth's ten year anniversary. It showcases the work of four of the partner organisations we support: Mabuwaya Foundation (Philippines), Save Vietnam's Wildlife (Vietnam), Mbou Mon Tour and Dynamique des Groupes des Peuples Autochtones (Democratic Republic of Congo).
